New G.703 Interface Pod Makes FB100A Fully Integrated Test System
With the addition of the new G.703 Interface Pod option, the Aeroflex FB100A Bit Error Rate Tester can now test a wide range of standardized telecommunications interfaces (from T1 at 1.544 Mbit/s to STS-3 and STM-1 at 155.52 Mbits/s). This improvement greatly increases the variety of equipment on which bit error rate measurements and noise/error characterization can be made.

New Comprehensive 3920 Radio Test Set for TETRA and P25
The 3920 now offers more capabilities integrated into one system, as well as extended analysis range and file management functions. The next generation of the Aeroflex 3900 Series, the 3920 replaces the 3901 and 3902 Radio Test Sets. While providing new features and functions, the 3920 continues to perform all the tests previously capable with the 3901 and 3902, including TETRA mobile station, base station and direct mode test features.

New Enhancement to VOR Index Feature on Avionics Signal Generators
Aeroflex 2030/2040 and NAV-750C Avionics Signal Generators have expanded their selection of indexes in VOR mode to speed up and simplify TSO Type Acceptance Tests on airborne VOR/ILS receivers. The instrument has always provided indexes of 14 to 18 (deviations between 420 Hz – 540 Hz), but to fully meet the requirements of EUROCAE ED22B or the equivalent US RTCA DO-196 specifications, both of which call for indexes between 8 and 17 (240 Hz – 510 Hz), indexes of 8, 10 and 12 have been added. This capability is also available for upgrade on older 2030/2040 series and NAV-750C Avionics Signal Generators if they are fitted with version 9.xx firmware.

 IQCreator™ Software Version 8.6 Available Now
IQCreator is a Windows-based software application that enables a user to set up a modulation scheme and then create an ARB file for use in conjunction with either the 3410 Series or 3020 PXI Series Signal Generators and now with the 3920 Analog and Digital Radio Test Platform. Version 8.6 provides downlink support to 1xEV-DO Rev A for the PXI 3000 and 3410 Series Digital Signal Generators. This new version defaults the 3410 ALC bandwidth to “narrow” for all modulation schemes, which significantly reduces the error vector magnitude.
